PRODUCT FEATURES:
thick steel structure fireproof coating is a new product developed
by our company under national GB14907-2002 standard. It is suitable
to apply on steel structures to form a heat insulation layer to
protect the structure in fire. It is mainly made of inorganic heat
insulation materials, which have the features such as no harm or
smells, convenience for constructions, strong cohesion for the
coatings, high mechanic al strength, long fire endurance and
stability, strong resistance to high temperature fires caused by
hydro-carbons. The coating is 8 to 50 mm thick and will not foam
when heated. Its low thermal conductivity delays temperature rising
to realize fire protection. The thick steel structure fireproof
coating is a new product developed by our company under national
GA14907-2002 standard. This product is made of high efficient
fireproof materials, and inorganic binder with fireproof dopes and
chemical auxiliaries. It is a non-toxic environment-friendly
product with no smells. This product has superiorities such as easy
construction, strong cohesion, sun and rain resistance, salt,
corrosion and alkali resistance, freezing resistance, good crack
resistance, long fire endurance and stable performance. It can
endure the strong impact of high temperature fires caused by
hydrocarbon. The coating is 8 to 50 mm thick and will not foam when
heated. Its low thermal conductivity delays temperature rising to
realize fire protection.
RANGE OF APPLICATIONS:
thick steel structure fireproof coating is not only applicable for
the fire protection of indoor steel structure of various high rise
buildings, petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy,
national defense and light industry, but also applicable for that
of steel structures that will be exposed to hydrocarbon chemicals
(e.g. oil, solvent etc.) such as the fire protection of
petrochemical engineering, garages, oil drilling platforms, and the
holding frames of oil storing facilities. The coating is 8 to 50 mm
thick and will not foam when heated. Its low thermal conductivity
delays temperature rising to realize fire protection.

CATEGORIES:
Our company, in order to satisfy different needs, divides our thick
steel structure fireproof coatings into categoriesⅠ,and Ⅲ.
Category Ⅰis in deep grey dense fluid state that can be directly
used. Categoryis in solid powder state, which can be applied after
mixing with water to proper state. Categoryis made up of two
components including solid and fluid materials. The solid one is in
powder state while the fluid one is translucent dense fluid. The
two materials should be mixed to proper state to use.
CONSTRUCTION METHODS:
One. Preparations:
1. Remove attaching, impurities and dirt on the surface of the
steel structure before spraying.
2. For the steel structures with rust on, it is supposed to remove
the rust first and spray anti-rust paint (it is better to use
anti-rust with strong cohesion).
Do not spray coatings before the paint is dry.
3. The construction temperature should be kept above 3℃.Two. Method
of applications:
1. The preparation of coatings must strictly follow the
requirements. For categoryⅢ product, first add the fluid material
and mix for 3 to 5 minutes, and then add the powders, and mix to
proper consistency.
2. Construction is done with spraying facilities such as spraying
equipments, compressors, charging basket etc; the applying tools
such as mortar blender tools, rendering plates, brushes, and
charging baskets. The applying thickness is 2 to 8 mm every time
during construction with 8 hours of interval times, which shall be
subject to adjustment according to different ambient temperature.
The ambient temperature should be not less than 4during or 24 hours
after constructions in case of freezing. Maintenance must be done
in extremely dry or hot conditions to avoid fast water loss of the
coatings. Partial maintenance can be done manually.
3. The mixing time of the diluted material is 2 to 3 minutes. Then
pour in the powder to proper consistency.
4. It is better to alternate spraying and applying during
construction. Spray first to increase the cohesion. It is
recommended to paint acrylic acid coatings twice to enhance its
weathering resistance.
